The Story
The story of Adquiere.co began when Bernardo Martinez and Daniel Rodriguez, co-founders of Axented, were approached by several US firms interested in acquiring their business. With little experience in M&A, they hired Roberto Barrera, co-founder of Salus Capital Strategy, to help them navigate the complex process.
Although Bernardo and Daniel decided not to sell their business, their journey with Roberto helped uncover an opportunity in this space. Together, they realized the immense potential in aiding the business world’s underdogs—the small businesses and startups that constitute over 90% of Mexico's businesses—in navigating the often daunting M&A processes.
This epiphany led them to create Adquiere.co, a platform designed to simplify M&A and investment processes, making them more accessible for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. Their combined expertise and shared vision have transformed Adquiere.co into a platform that revolutionizes business transactions in Mexico.
According to a recent Preqin Survey, over 60% of Latin American investors believe Mexico will present the best opportunities in the next 12 months.
